Innovation, experimentation and trendy design. These are the three main ideas behind the new item L’INVISIBILE by Portarredo: the automatic disappearing sliding door.

It is a technologically advanced product, which is the result of careful research and experimentation activity, where advanced materials and techniques mesh with incredible versatility.

The automatic disappearing sliding door L’INVISIBILE is a unique innovative patented system of flush doors: it is a sliding panel, made of 6060 extruded passivated aluminium. This kind of material can be easily painted with water based paints and with enamel and prevents cracking, also after prolonged use.

Opening and closing of the door are possible thanks to two cams that make the aluminium nucleus move vertically and make it slide in the wall. The motion of the panel is determined by a low tension device, within an aluminium structure. The door can be opened pressing on a button, which is itself flush with the wall. The door can also be opened manually, using flush inset handles.

This new door is made according to customers’ requirements and it can be therefore integrated in any wall and it fits into any environment; it can have a maximum 1200 mm width and a maximum 3000 mm height.

As any other product by L’INVISIBILE, this door is perfectly flush with the wall and it can be painted with the same colour of the wall, so that it becomes invisible, or it can be painted with different colours to create a contrast. The door can be painted with water based paints and with enamel. The following finishes are available: wallpaper, paints, veneering, laminate, french-polishing. Our standard finishes are: raw material and cementite.
